Lliw

Gogledd and De are the northern and southern dialects — they differ by real words, not just accent. Dysgwr starts with multiple choice; Cymraeg assumes the meanings are known and goes straight to spelling. + English puts English under every Welsh label.

Each person can choose their own colours. The icons on the right lead to the videos and the rest of the tools.

Pick a single topic to practise just that list — useful when school has set one for the week. Pob un mixes everything.

Ten questions to a round. Green means right, red means wrong, and the ochre one is where you are. Gwrando plays the word aloud in your chosen dialect.

If they're stuck

Say it, don't spell it. Welsh spelling is regular, so a child who hears the word said properly can usually write it. Tap Gwrando twice before guessing.
ll, ch, dd, ff, ng, rh and th are single letters. In llaw, the "ll" is one sound, not two. That's why the letter tiles group them.
Words change at the front. cath becomes y gath. This is a mutation, it's normal, and it isn't a spelling mistake. Mutated forms are shown beside feminine words above.
